Easter!

So we were all sick on Easter so we didn't go to church so Mary didn't wear her Easter dress that day. Hopefully this Sunday she can wear it! But she was super cute anyway so we took some pictures! We went over to the Beckstead's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt that Mary thought was so fun!!!

I just thought these pictures were cute!

She is raiding one of her uncles Easter baskets. Snoops!

I kept asking her to say cheese for the picture and she would tilt her head all the way back and say cheese.

She got caught! (Wish the picture was better!)

She wanted to do the egg hunt over and over!!!

Daddy Daughter Time!

Mary loves to spend time with her Daddy (most of the time)...

The other day she woke up wanting pancakes. So I said I'd make her some, but she said "No! Daddy make pancake!" Well then, okay by me! Jake tried to persuade her to have me do it, but that was a no go. She wanted her Daddy to make her pancakes and would not have it any other way. It was really funny!

She had to watch him every step of the way. Quite the overseer we have around here! Good thing she doesn't have a whip!

Jake said she couldn't make pancakes, but really they are super easy and he did a great job!

Mary approved!!!

During General Conference Mary got Jake to make us some popcorn. She LOVES watching him make popcorn. She thinks it's so fun! And then super fun to eat!

So we have been trying to make the TV area look nicer so we got this TV stand for all the components that we have. When Jake got home he started moving the components in, but he had a hard time seeing behind the receiver so I got him a couple flashlights. Mary thought she would be helpful and hold one of the flashlights for Daddy. She stayed there for about 10 minutes (on and off) helping Jake. It was super cute and Jake said that it was helpful!

I love how she likes to help Daddy!!!

Miss Mary

So I decided to do a quick Mary update. She is doing AMAZING!!! She is healthy, happy and so much fun!!! She's also stubborn, independent and bossy - but we love her anyway! She still loves being outside and wants to stay at the park ALL DAY! She loves playing with her friends and tries hard to make friends. She know more words than I can count and is our constant parrot, copying everything we say and do. She is very helpful and loves to help us with whatever she can. She loves spicy foods and Wreck it Ralph - she is very much a little Jake.

I love this picture of Mary. I told her to smile and this is what I got. Goof!

She loves to swing!

Just enjoying the comics.

I love the looks she gives me.
Our little Easter bunny. The outfit was just barely too small :(

The tall was the best part!

I don't often do her hair, but I was proud of this one!

She got a cute little kitchen from some friends. She LOVES LOVES LOVES it!!! She's always making us soup, burritos, ice cream or chicken cordon blu. It's awesome!

We were sick last week and Jake's mom graciously offered to take Mary so we could sleep. Mary was SOOOOOOO excited she waited by the door all ready to go with her blanket and Cookie Monsters. She kept saying "Mama's house! Mama's house!" It was cute to see how happy she was. I love that she loves her family!

So we go to story time almost every week. This is the first week that she actually sat on the rug for some of it. (We've been going for about 3-4 months now.) All she wanted was friends. She kept hugging the girl to the left of Mary and I think it freaked the girl out. So I told Mary she could only hug people she knew, like me. She was so sad. She almost cried and came and sat on my lap. It was the saddest thing ever. She just wanted to be sweet and nice and give hugs. I love how Mary is just so sweet and loving! She gives really good hugs!!!!

Mommy's little helper. I was putting the garbage cans away and Mary INSISTED on putting one away by herself. So she wheeled it all the way around to the side of the house. I was really impressed. I love how she wants to help anyway she can!!!

I love my little-big girl! She is growing up to be such a sweet, loving, helpful girl! I couldn't ask for a more perfect little one!!! (I made the font pink because that is Mary's favorite color!)
