December

Mary has been really funny ever since we've had our Christmas decorations up. She keeps saying, "Thank you for Christmas!" and then she'll run over and give us big hugs and kisses. She loves all the decorations and "Santa lights" she sees when we drive around. It's so fun to see her get so excited.

We've never had a topper on our Christmas tree and I've always wanted one, but haven't been able to find a star that I really like. Well, this year I got a band saw for Christmas and decided to make a star. So, Mary helped my paint it white and had a great time doing it! I think it turned out pretty good.

She loves her horse that she got last Christmas. She's very sweet with it and takes good care of it. One day I couldn't see or hear Mary - which is usually pretty scary - but when I found her she was kneeling next to her horse petting it and talking quietly to him. It was a very sweet. Then she gave his a kiss and moved on to her next toy. She is a very sweet little girl.
For Christmas my parents made Mary a doll bed. We thought she was old enough and with the little sibling on it's way it might be fun for her to have. She promptly took the babies clothes off and put her back in bed. For those of you who don't know, Mary refuses to wear pajamas of any kind. She thinks she will be warmer without them. So, I'm sure she was thinking the baby would be the same. I kept trying to put the clothes back on, but she would just take them off again. She sleeps with that doll bed next to her bed every night and we're never sure which of her "friends" will be sleeping in it.

These are my new boots that I got for Christmas. I'm really excited about them and think they're awesome! They are REALLY warm!

November

In October we had some family pictures taken with the Beckstead's. This one was one of my favorites...Mary is so cute!!!

And we found out we're expecting, the baby is due in June. We don't know what the gender is but we're excited to grow our little family.

Mary finally got a hair cut...sniff sniff. I was sad to see her baby curls go, but it's much easier to brush her hair and really she looks cute no matter what.

Jake had some work in Utah to do a week before Thanksgiving so we were able to go with him and spend some time with my family. I mainly hung out on the couch trying not to throw-up, but it was still fun. I was able to help my mom make her gingerbread house this year. It was really fun.

We had Thanksgiving with the Beckstead's this year. We went up to a condo in the Mountains and spent the weekend there. It was really fun! Mary had a blast hangout out with family all day everyday. She NEVER falls asleep on the couch...I think we wore her out.
They had some fun activities there. Mary got to decorate her own cookie. She was more interested in eating the decorations then actually getting them on the cookie, but it was still fun.

October

So I've been off the radar for a while and I'm trying to catch back up, so here's October doings...

We went to a pumpkin patch that was really fun. Mary had a blast feeding the ponys and going down a giant slide they had. She also like this tube swing.

They had a lot of fun things for Mary to do and for us to participate in too.

Mary participated in Trunk or Treat and Trick or Treating this year. She LOVED it!!! She couldn't get enough of it. She was so cute about it and always said "Thanks" - or at least most of the time.

It was pretty cold outside so we had to bundle her up pretty well. She reminded me of Edith from Despicable Me. We went around for an hour, but Mary could have stayed out WAY longer. To this day she asks about Trick or Treating.

We went and visited Garden of the God's one weekend. It was really fun just to walk around and see the pretty rocks. Mary loved running around.

Afterwards we went to a park and had a picnic in the back of the truck.

Mary had a great time on the slide. No fear for this one!
